We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Chess coaches to join our growing team. You will teach chess in schools and community programs, working mainly with pre-school and primary school learners, and sharing your passion in a meaningful, hands-on way with flexible scheduling.

KZN Chess Academy uses chess to develop young minds in schools and communities across KwaZulu-Natal. Through engaging lessons, we help children build confidence, focus, and critical thinking skills — on and off the board.

If you have solid chess knowledge, enjoy working with children, and want to make a real difference, this is your opportunity to be part of a program that creates confidence, opportunity, and community through chess. Applicants must be 18 or older and willing to undergo a background check.
